Fighter Weapons Instructor Course Begins with Royal Malaysian Air Force
The 2022 Fighter Weapons Instructor Course (FWIC) kicked off at the International Tactical Training Centre in Canada this week. The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) has sent the best of its fighter pilots to attend an innovative program that will turn graduates into Weapons and Tactics experts.
The ITTC programme employs, to a far greater degree than previous programmes, networked tactical simulators using virtual content blended with real-world scenarios for immersive mixed reality learning. The result is highly customizable missions, at a lower training cost and environmental impact, supporting tactical flight training exercises in Canada and the final Combined Air Operations Exercise in Malaysia.
